Key Elements of Successful Dispensing: How to Get it Right the First Time

Hours: 2 hours

Presenter: Sue Klacik

This program is designed to educate participants about commonly overlooked details that often lead to unnecessary remakes - which can be quite costly in terms of time, money and patient dissatisfaction. By providing a thorough review of dispensing strategies that help you "get it right the first time," this seminar is designed to reduce or even prevent eyewear remakes. Because no technique is full-proof, an overview of trouble-shooting guidelines is also provided, which when properly applied to any difficult situation, will increase patients' confidence without having to "remake" the eyeglasses. Every time an eye care professional opts to "remake" a job, patients lose confidence in the ECP's competence.
Solving Visual Problems with Today’s Specialty Progressives

Hours: 1 hour

Presenter: Sue Klacik

Everything you ever wanted to know about how near variable focus lenses work compared to general purpose progressives and why, and which of your patients would be better served by a specialty progressive than a general purpose PAL.
