Dear Fellow Optician,
I invite you to become part of an organization that is dedicated to protecting your profession and advocating for your future: the Opticians Association of New Jersey (OANJ).
We are a statewide association made up of volunteers that serves as a strong, consistent voice for Licensed Opticians. At OANJ, we actively monitor legislation, regulatory developments, and legal matters that directly affect your license, your livelihood, and the quality of care we provide.
Our mission is to support and elevate the profession of Opticianry through education, leadership, and advocacy—not only for our members, but for the patients who rely on our expertise every day.
OANJ is your safeguard. By joining OANJ, you're standing up for your license, your career, and your future.
Without a strong association backed by committed members, it becomes easier for legislators to move oversight of Opticianry to another board—or eliminate our professional identity altogether.
You are the key to our strength and long-term viability.
Membership That Makes a Difference
When you consider the benefits, the cost of membership is incredibly affordable. For less than $1 a week—just 2.5 cents per hour worked—you can support the only organization fighting to protect your license and your profession.
We're also introducing more flexible, lower-cost membership options to make joining even easier.
So why wait? Fill out the online application and join today. And please, share this message with your colleagues. The more Licensed Opticians who stand with us, the stronger our voice becomes.
I look forward to welcoming you to our next OANJ event.
